2012 Trek Slash 9 17.5" All Mountain Bike

I'm selling a top of the line Trek Slash 9 size 17.5" (medium) All Mountain/ Enduro mountain bike that has been meticulously maintained and is in excellent condition. I'm a 155 lb, 5' 8" 45+ year old rider who does not do drops or jumps so the bike has not been abused or ridden hard. The bike was just completely overhauled/cleaned as well as having had the fork serviced with new seals and oil. I just installed a brand new XT 10 spd chain, Bontrager front tire, gear cables and housing as well as new disc brake pads. The wheels, stem and carbon handlebar are basically brand new because soon after I bought the bike I switched those stock parts for more XCish parts. Now that I'm selling the bike I've reinstalled the stock wheels, stem and bar. The bike is pretty much original with the exception of the WTB saddle and weights a very respectable 30.2 lbs for a 6 inch travel All Mountain rig. It looks and feels brand new and is in 100% perfect working order. This bike could easily pass for showroom new and has to be seen to be believed!

The Slash 9 with it's super stiff Fox 36 Talas fork is an amazing AM bike that loves steep technical descents, will monster truck through most technical terrain and with the flick of the Talas and ProPedal switches, easily becomes a capable climber. This bike can be ridden anywhere from lift access bike park trails to epic XC trails and would make for an amazing Enduro race bike. I'm selling it as it's too much bike for my needs and I'm looking to get more of a trail bike. Originally costing over $5500 plus tax, when you factor in all the new parts and it's excellent condition, $3400 is an amazing deal. Included in the selling price is both a spare 12x142 rear derailleur hanger and a set of 9 x 135mm rear drops if you want to run lighter weight traditional wheels as I did. I included the last photo just to show how I set up the bike, confirming the stock wheels, carbon handlebar and stem were not used.
