Insanely lightweight and fast bike built around a nice carbon fibre frame/fork. This was badged when I bought it as a Merlin Metalworks (who made a number of carbon bikes from 2012 through to about 2016 but are now Ti only), but it seems to be a chinese-made frame and fork set that can be identified as an 'FM208'. Whether or not Merlin white-labelled these I don't know for sure, but either way It's a lovely frame and fork, very stiff and insanely light, especially with the integrated seatpost.

The build comes it at under 15lbs/6.8kg on our domestic scales (although I can't vouch for the exact accuracy). 105 groupset and rims brakes (new when I acquired the bike and has not done a lot of miles), Mavic Ksyrium wheel/tubeless tyre setup, Currently running a single 52T Garbaruk narrow/wide chainring, Ritchey WCS carbon flat bar w/single Shimano shifter, Shimano levers. Ritchey WCS stem and saddle. As you can tell it's been used by me as a very fast urban commuter, but I will also supply it’s original full road bike/drop bar setup as part of the sale comprising of a Fizik Cyrano/C3 bar/stem setup, 105 chainrings/front mech if you want it.

It’s in good overall condition and perfect working order. All carbon is solid and damage-free, wheels are in great shape. 105 groupset was bought new when I acquired the bike and doesn’t have many miles on it. Ritchey saddle, stem and carbon bars are all recent purchases and only have a few dozen miles on them.

I'm 5'11 and it fits me well, although I do tend to like bikes to be a wee bit on the smaller side of normal. Previous owner was female and around 5'9''. With the fixed seat post setup and custom nature of the frame I would certainly support coming to give it a ride to test for size. I'm in central London, five mins walk from Angel or Farringdon tube stations and am pretty flexible.

The price reflects the patchy labelling history of the frame and fork, and I'm open to offers. Killer urban commuter for London, so much fun for the money!
