Probably yes, but at least 140 at the back would be preffered...
If the Slash remains 160/150 I will probably buy a new 2021 one If it goes up to a super enduro 170/160 it will be also much heavier and not anymore interesting for long days in the saddle so I'll stay with the 2020
Nice would be a 150/140 Trailbike, but doesn't look that there will be something... and if the Slash stays 160/150 it will also not be necessary just when the Slash goes "big"
Same. The fuel ex seems pretty capable, but I'd like a bike with at least 140mm of travel in the rear. Would love to see a 140rear/150fr trail bike from trek. It would be the perfect bike for big days in the alps with long steep climbs and agressive technical descents.
Honestly I don't hope for anything since i got plenty enough of travel on my slash and I find the geometry pretty spot on. I wouldn't mind a steeper STA, but nothing beyond 75,5°, and that's it. Since this is my do it all MTB, I don't want the new slash to be DH oriented like every other brand are doing now with their enduro models, but I know that unfortunately, this will not be the case...
Yes! If they turn the Slash into a full enduro (Spec Enduro) where in Trek's lineup is a 29" with 150 or 160 travel?!?!? Fuel EX will be their only trail 29".
Rumor has it that there is a 29er Remedy in the works, which makes sense as the Slash is outdated travel wise for an enduro race bike.

Prepare to stay with your 2020. I agree, I'm not stoked on the idea of a 32-34Lb bike, I just want better geo for the Slash - 480mm reach, 64deg HA, steeper SA, lower ST, longer WB.
The comment about a 29r Remedy slotting into the 140/150 zone would be super interesting. Roll on August 10th...

If the remedy goes 29, slash should go mullet

I am not sold on the new frame rumours yet. New Fuel EX in 2020, Domane this year, I would be pleasantly surprised if we would see a new frame on Slash or Session. Beside, where do we want to have that bike tweaked anyway? It's a pretty good platform as is. I guess time will tell, 2 more weeks to go until D-day.

Session 29 frames are/were on clearance at a massive discount. Slashes were on clearance too, with no new colourways showing on the dealer site.
It's a sure thing that there is a 'new' Slash frame coming (for carbon at least).
Edit: If you want a 2020 Slash you may be able to get a good deal right now, if your LBS is on the ball.

so the slash will be released in 2 weeks ? If so I can’t wait

Rumour is Aug 10. That was about when last year that the updated colourway for the Slash 8 was released.

That's the rumor of when they should be announced, actually getting one will probably take longer. Ship times I saw for other bikes were out to November
