Got the bike back!!! YAAAHHHOOOOO!

The back brake is ok, but was leaking at the lever/hose connection but this nipped up and needed a bleed. Seems ok now.

Only issue was the cosmetic marks due to the poor packing of the bike but credit where credits due Canyon have said they will sort this for me.
Was anybody else able to get the hoses through the internal routing holes without removing the stealth a majig? Im not sure if this was posted before. I was hoping to tidy up the front of the bike.

Disconnect from the lever, you'll have to trim about 10mm off the end of the hose though and replace the olive

Do you need to replace the stealth a majig barb too OR only the olive?

Just the olive, you can pick them up cheap from your lbs, i got one from mine for 50p. I'll be easier to reroute round the head tube as well as you haven't got to un-thread and re-thread the whole way through the frame.

You tell us everythang. Now!

I owned a Canyon Torque Rockzone for 2 years, with a charger damper in the rockshock's team fork, a cb db on the back , some renthal cockpit and a true spank 40 stiffy with hope hubs wheelset, realy nice bike, i learned a lot on it, could rip everything, now, the new owner is very enthusiastic on how it works. BUT...when your experience increases and you rip with lighter bikes, you see how the agility of ones makes you play better with your bike and your hands are pain free. So THE SENDER came out, a real beauty in real life ! The size L si 16.5kg with RF ATLAS pedals and seriously...it f**king shreds everything !!! It's fast, agile, lively, strong, the fox suspension and the frame protects your knees on landings (i have a repaired knee, no intern meniscus and a remaked ACL, when landing i`ve felt a little bit of an impact, but now, it's like your landing onwater Smile ). The dt swiss wheels are strong and very silent, more exactly, the single thing i`m hearing is the guide rsc back pads when braking hard, except that, it's a vert quiet and joyfull ride. It's better then the Torque, it handles perfect, it keeps your momentum , maked me faster on the same course with 12 seconds Smile a true beast!

I'm so jealous right now.

Any one of you tried to add longer cranks to Strive like 175mm? Because i feel that 175 will hit stuff in DH mode since i do that on 170.

2 weeks waiting for new suspension pivot bolt from canyon to replace the one that has thread damage. Now they delayed shipping for another week.
It's just a bolt and I feel it's gonna be wait period like for new bike, weeks and weeks. I can see now worst customer service ever

Hey Sir,
Did you try to find an alternative solution? Those bolts are made by someone so it could be found online....
Would it make sense to measure it and have a look online?
Or a machine shop?

Lovely bad boy that is Neighbour....
What type of terrain you usually ride that you needed a big rig?
Been thinking about swapping my Strive for a big and a small bike (cheaper alloy).

Hi,
I've got a Strive AL 6 Race on order (expected delivery is 1-5 August but not holding my breath after reading this thread Smile ), I'm looking to sort out some frame protection and thinking about an Invisiframe kit but have a couple of questions for you guys:

1 - Is the Strive AL and Strive CF frame the same shape and dimensions? Invisiframe only have have the CF listed and I'm reluctant to have to take my bike down to their place if the standard CF kit with fit.

2 - With the AL race frame in team colours being anodised I'd read the the invisiframe kit may not work, has anyone fitted a kit to an anodised frame and had any problems?
