Really does make you think watching this... just how good and needed Rob Warner actually is. No insult to the commentators doing it... but they're soooooo far away from Warner it's incredible.

“the commentators doing it” are obviously cam mccaul and andrew neethling is this your first day? No disrespect to Warner bc im a fan on him too, but these guys got plenty of street cred and id call them equally as talented in live broadcast. Especially McCaul

@pargolf8: no theyre not, i'd rather watch mute than hear cam talking. Nice and cool guy, but terrible voice.

@pargolf8: Being amazing riders doesn't necessarily make you a great commentator. Knowing when to bring in your 2nd guy in the chat, knowing the right comments, etc... It's an art form that takes a long time to happen. It doesn't just come over night.
Admittedly the coverage was better than last years Crankworks DH which was absolutely terrible... but it still needed 'more'.

I'm sure you guys must get it in your sports over there too, over in the UK we've got commentators who love or hate are 'the voice of.... ' whatever the sport is... and Warner is the voice of MTB/DH for sure. You can sit there and argue at times he is repetitive and sometimes not always factually correct, but he brings passion, he brings the love of the sport and he does also bring knowledge of riders, races, teams etc...

@Korbi777: im not saying they’re as good as warner, but i think you guys are a bit OT with the whining (weird) and you dont like his voice? Lets here what you bring to the table there, sinatra

 Had the same thought

@pargolf8: haha, why is it relevant what i bring to the table. i'm not a commentator, i'm a fan of sport and watch the race. who cares what i sound like.

Loved the little exchange after Charlie Hatton’s run. “Do you have any water? Ah, just Red Bull?” Yes, who would want to drink Red Bull after a race run? Or ever, for that matter.

i used to complain at German Races about that...cant believe how this could become a standard.
Giving out free unhealthy sugar drinks to upcoming athletes, already athletes and even Weekend Warriors.
It sucks...big time. #drinkwater

@Braench: they are faux cans anyways. Almost identical to the promotion of btc by celebrities. “Look what your idols are doing sheep”

Kind of a shitty interview of Valle Holl by Cam after she just won. You’ve been having a lot of problems crashing this year, what’s going on? Um, how about a congratulations, or great job on todays race?

See your pain Cam, just had 3 bones removed from my right wrist, Primal Row Carpectomy. Have surgery on my peroneal nerve, left knee, next month at Mayo Clinic Rochester MN. No riding season for me....
