What I hate worse than paid content, are websites that trick you into reading the first couple lines of a story, then block you with some paywall bullshit. It just turns me off to that website and anything that has to do with that website. Why is it that 97% of media companies have figured out how to make money without directly charging the reader, yet there are still a handful of companies that think using a paywall is a viable method of making money? It's not like they have pr0n, it's just dumb words, LOL.
