That was a scary crash for Emil. No camera coverage for a few minutes until he was up and walking--I guess he got knocked unconscious?

Loved the course, all the features. the flat bank was awesome! I can't believe peeps can double flip but not do tech tricks. Great course, soooo many options.

Kid in the crowd after Emil's crash "I think he's dead".... I'm glad you were wrong kid.

Bummed for Johansson, hope he's ok for the next one!

 That last jump is dangerous.

 they're all "dangerous".

@plyawn: did you watch the live stream? Obviously they are all dangerous but this one was disproportionately so because the size seemed out of sync with the available speed. Lots of riders crashing on the last jump because they couldn’t the right speed for it yet it’s the “showcase” jump and the riders know they have to finish with something big. Even many of the riders that cleared it seemed to barely do so compared to the similar big jump they cleared no problem further up the run.

@jessemeyers: been out there watching them practice all week, hasn't really been an issue.

@paddonq: what happened during finals? Was there a headwind?
  • 2 0
@jessemeyers: Bit of a crosswind, and a bit of rain. During the first round, anyway (I had to go to bed and didn't watch the 2nd yet). The start time was delayed to let the wind calm down.
