During the Fox Proframe world tour, Ratboy and Loosedog used the opportunity to film at as many spots as they could! They met so many talented kids and got to ride with some wicked people, keep an eye out for yourselves in the video. Stoked! Big love.
I was confused when Ratboy quit the WC, but now I get it. He's touring the world with his friends just riding his bike for fun. What a great way to live.
I met Ratty and Josh Lewis up in Big Bear a couple days ago and I gotta say Bryceland's accent is no joke haha. Other than that they're a couple of the most vibing dudes to be around, happy Rats doing what he wants #longlivetherat
Touring the world having fun and bashing the crap out of bikes riding on logs constantly and doing 'jibs' is definitely better for sustainability and the environment than racing after all.....
@cliffdog: you not read what josh said in sender mag then? About being aware of the abuse bikes get racing the etc circuit and how much stuff is wrecked and the impact of the travel?
It's not what I think, It's what he said about quitting DH and then jets off to the USA to help jib bash bikes to bits
@Racer951: He mentioned a couple of months ago that he's used two tyres all year so far, but at a WC he'd use two tyres each run, which added up to shed loads of binned tyres every weekend. That's the kind of stuff he found most wasteful about WC events.
@Racer951: you are quite literally missing the point of cycling. It's not as if he is out in the wilderness tearing new lines down protected areas or scree slopes, that would have a negative effect, but in a bike park? Also, the guys lives on a canal boat, as far as low impact goes I'd say he is more green and has less environmental impact that most people.
Rat yes, awesome to watch, loose is starting to look tedious with him doing odd endo and footplant box style tricks on a big bike rather than ride the immense trail they have travelled miles to use- Can do that crap anywhere.
Ratboy reminds me a lot of Wade Simmons: Loves to ride his bike, can get a bit wild, as I understand, and is smooth and effortless in his riding. Well done. I do miss the 'devil may care' approach and attitude on the DH circuit for sure, but it is fun to see the man stoked to ride his bike. Something I'll always support.
Has Ratboy never been riding in British Columbia before? I can't seem to find any media of him riding Whistler or anywhere else in the province. I kind of half expected that video to end up there given how close they were.
Spoke to him halfway down Dirtmerchant once. This was right after his wheel completely collapsed at Monte St Anne ( 2013 if memory serves) Very nice guy and extremely approachable. Kept things very low key and was not actively seeking attention or anything. Just a great rider and sweet guy.
@teamtoad: Cheers Dude but i already found it and got the CD,was listening to the Doors all day yesterday because of it,in fact i can't believe i missed Peace Frog after listening to them for like 30+ years, feel like a bit of an idiot!!
@stigwierd: Cheers, long time fan as well! The Doors are one band I sure wish I could have seen live but I was just a youngster when Jim Morrison passed.

please remove american flags. make this site about bikes, not politics. by putting american flag you promote american foreign policy which is full of illegal invasions and war crimes.
I think this was a visit to a geographical location with recognized international boarders. I am no fan of the imperial nature of the country of which I am a citizen, and am painfully aware of many of the consequences of this way of interacting with the world (both to my benefit and to the detriment of others). There are, however, innumerable fabulous places to ride, countless gorgeous sites to see, and millions of amazing people.... we also have our share of people who are truly bizarre and unaware that there is a world beyond our borders. I promise to continue to work to change the way my country acts in the neighborhood, and invite you to consider that the US portrayed in the nightly news is not the full story. www.ted.com/talks/chimamanda_adichie_the_danger_of_a_single_story
Also @makor86 there is a rich level of irony in your comment here. You make a statement that this site should be about bikes, yet you go on about political issues. I support your claim, PB is no place for politics, so let's focus on the bikes part and leave the rest of the shit to other platforms.
Pinkbike please remove @makor86 for being a part of an absolutely "perfect country" capable of bashing on any other country with imperfections. And because he's lame.
How about this- america will stop having most of its military deployed in foreign countries when the NATO members pay their agreed upon dues to the full amount. We will also stop funding 1/3 of the UN.
@sooner518: maybe it is but the flag is symbol of the state (usa) which is 100% political. look at europe, they dont put flags everywhere just on state building and state related day. you should do the same specially your flag represent evil.
@makor86: wow your retarted. Also USA is a country not a state. The flag is simply used as a thumbnail to let you know its from America. It's hard to believe you communist idiots have let your selves get so brain washed.
This "evil flag" was the only thing standing between your family's blitzkreiged Pole-arse and a gas chamber. And if not for our "military occupation" and the threat there-of, you'd be one of Putin's boot-lickers right about now. You're welcome.
@dtm1: i was referring to the photo in the news. aslo you are a typical dumb low iq burger with no education so let me teach you of out pity. 1. if not poles like pulaski and kosciuszko usa would not be independent so on your knees and thank us. 2. there is no proof there were any gas chambers 3. seriously learn history of XX century. usa was the evil side in ww2, much worse than 3rd reich as usa was supporting the biggest evil of XX century which was soviet union under stalin. in addiction usa was supporting another hitler level scum called churchil + usa was committing war crimes left and right. you scums were supporting stalin even in 1947 (Operation Keelhaul) by helping in his crimes against humanity. there was dresden, hiroshima, nagasaki and bombing civilians everywhere, korea was even worse, then vietnam, south america, usa was supporting f*cking red khmers in Cambodia and later taliban. now usa support al qaeda, pkk isis, saudi arabia and israel. Putin is an angel in comparison to usa and i would love to have russian military in poland and kick american criminals. Everything is better than usa. gov and military of usa should be arrested and sentences to death for their crimes against humanity. shame on you. so sad usa is full of terrorist loving scums like you instead of smart and decent people like e.g. Ron Paul.
@ebomb11: also no proof for 6mln. also i bet u dont even know most of nkvd and ub officers were jews and jews were collaborating with soviet invaders in poland in 39-41. also jews has murdered polish povs in Katyn.
@ebomb11: u r typical dumb burgers. "gas chambers" (made by soviets after the war) and totally out of ass 6mln figure hahahahahahha u r so dumb www.rense.com/general53/aauz.htm educate yourself a little (first link in english, didnt bother to investigate further in english)

Then you'd see serious effort on the part of tire makers to sort all this crap out.
@Eddkilla: Yeah man! He's a super freindly and easy to chat with dude, but he needs to come with a translator!
