Turn Your Brain Off and Ride: On Track with Curtis Keene - Season 4 Ep.5

Sep 27, 2017
by Red Bull Bike

Curtis Keene explores that focused state all riders strive for – a feeling that everything's come together and you're riding faster than you've ever done before. Whether you call it 'flow' or 'being in the zone', here's how to find it.

Switching off your brain and riding unfocused is where the the real skill lies. Switching off brain and getting loose on PB is less tricky.

getting older and wiser is a real thing , so is the part about not recovering like a 20 year old ,I have never rode better than I do now , I have to hold back on the frequency but I can do things I couldn't do when I was younger , everyone will realize this if they keep riding and don't puss out too early .true story

I really need to get into racing and make it official. I know for a fact I would be the fastest in XC, DH, and everything else. I would quickly become the winner of all the pro races I just need to get out there and do it. I'm almost 100% sure of it but I always only ride by myself and I can just feel that I'm extremely fast.

Mmm just had a collar bone plate surgery ten days ago.. Wonder if I should hop onto some black trails at 5 weeks?

Honestly....you might. I broke my whole shoulder two years ago and was unable to ride for a year and a half. The beginning was tough. I was scared on blue trails and then..;couple days and you get your confidence back. Honestly.
Enjoy !

This is hands down the best show in mtb right now. Props to you RedBull for keeping this going.

Interesting to see the line choice at 7:42, Richie flows but Hill plows through.

More like straight-lining vs carving back and forth. Neither seemed like plowing or flowing. But yeah, fun to see the difference.

Crap. I really thought I was gonna learn something more than what was is the title.
