Curtis Keene explores that focused state all riders strive for – a feeling that everything's come together and you're riding faster than you've ever done before. Whether you call it 'flow' or 'being in the zone', here's how to find it.
getting older and wiser is a real thing , so is the part about not recovering like a 20 year old ,I have never rode better than I do now , I have to hold back on the frequency but I can do things I couldn't do when I was younger , everyone will realize this if they keep riding and don't puss out too early .true story
I really need to get into racing and make it official. I know for a fact I would be the fastest in XC, DH, and everything else. I would quickly become the winner of all the pro races I just need to get out there and do it. I'm almost 100% sure of it but I always only ride by myself and I can just feel that I'm extremely fast.
Honestly....you might. I broke my whole shoulder two years ago and was unable to ride for a year and a half. The beginning was tough. I was scared on blue trails and then..;couple days and you get your confidence back. Honestly. Enjoy !
Just had the same surgery 4 weeks ago. Im waiting for my final check up in a couple of days, but it feels really good. I've been dicking around doing some street stuff and I feel ready.
Redbull doesn’t take away sponsorships I don’t think. Many athletes get sponsored by Redbull and then not do as good as they did before. Curtis Keene is still doing great in the EWS scores and I believe he deserves his wings as much as Aaron Gwin.
It has more to do with marketing than results. Keene's just a chill dude and makes for a great host of the show. Even with his sub-par results (which aren't even that bad, in the top ten a lot actually), he has hella sponsors.
@bridgermurray: I don't think it's either, look at Gee. He's not getting top results, he has a shitty attitude... If I were redbull I would only sponsor myself.
I thought you Canadians are a peaceful bunch...
Enjoy !
Time to move on...
